After posting a couple days back about my misadventure with the scripts, I was contacted by a pal (whom we’ll call “Henry Kissinger” since I don’t know if his actions were approved by his employers; a secret identity will hopefully keep him safe) who works at an office supply store with a copy area. Oops.

So after meticulously going over the script to finalize its format for shooting script purposes – basically, making sure dialogue isn’t split between two pages if it doesn’t have to be – and making sure it’s as polished as polished can be, I apparently boned something in the formatting when I went back in to make some last minute tweaks to a couple bits, with many, many pages featuring the very dialogue splits I worked to avoid… and I didn’t notice the boning until after I had printed up a dozen copies. Production meeting: It begins!

Home from my first production meeting with Ryan and Matt Laumann, who was originally slated to star as Joe the Astronaut but has been upgraded to producer on account of his willingness to perform a metric crapload of organizational tasks.
